So the other day while procrastinating on my NaNoWriMo novel and schoolwork at the same time, I discovered something quite wonderful. A very nice list of OCTs. And then my brain started rattling.

Someone I watch recently entered an OCT and I found the very idea of it awesome. But there was a hitch. Most OCTs only accept artists. And alas, I am a writer.

But after browsing for a period of time far greater than I should have, I came across THIS: It was exactly what I wanted, and also accepted writers. I was on cloud nine! And then they announced that they would be holding a writer's only section. This meant I wouldn't be competing against those crazy awesome artists out there. Huzzah!

And so it happened that I entered my reference and audition, hoping to be accepted. And I was! So now, on top of all my crazy schoolwork and finishing my NaNo, I'll be participating in an OCT, something I've wanted to do for a long time. I'm really excited but at the same time, worried that I won't last through the first round. But I'll do my best to have a blast and make it as far as I can!
